Susanne Graf |
Violin, Flutes, Percussion, Dulcimer Even as a child, Susanne played Bavarian folk music on the dulcimer and recorder. In her youth, she received classical training on the violin, which soon became her central instrument and continues to shape her playing today. While still a student, Hardy introduced the adopted Lower Bavarian to medieval music, and with this new sound world, her repertoire expanded to include various percussion instruments. Her love for Ireland, deepened during an extended stay in Northern Ireland, also influenced her playing as a founding member of the band Fiunferley. There, perfectly in keeping with the group's "medieval meets folk" concept, she combined melodic instruments like the violin and flutes with the rhythmic colors of percussion. With her dynamic melodic playing, Susanne is one of the essential pillars of Chapelloise Zefix! |
